Hidden among the mountains of Loja, southern Ecuador, El Dorado sits at 1,740 metres above sea level. The farm is part of ChocoVilcaMundo (CVM), a project that combines Colombian coffee-growing heritage with Ecuadorian terroir. With twelve hours of sunlight throughout the year, natural shade management and a carefully balanced ecosystem, El Dorado has quickly established itself as one of Ecuador's most exciting emerging coffee farms.

This lot is composed entirely of Wush Wush, a rare Ethiopian-origin variety planted at El Dorado in 2019. Known for its remarkable aromatic intensity and complex fruit character.
Following careful hand selection, the cherries undergo a 48-hour fermentation in sealed tanks, allowing sugars and aromatic compounds to develop before drying. The coffee is then transferred to raised African beds, where it is slowly sun-dried under controlled conditions.

El Dorado was established in 2017 by the Elder family, a father-&-son team who recognised the remarkable coffee potential of the Loja highlands and, together with ChocoVilcaMundo (CVM), set out to build a farm focused entirely on exceptional specialty coffee.
The combination of experience, commitment to innovation and meticulous farm management have quickly positioned El Dorado among Ecuador's most respected coffee producers, with repeated recognition in national and international quality competitions.
This lot was sourced by TREVO through Algrano, providing direct access to origin and full price transparency. By purchasing the coffee at the FOB price, TREVO supports a supply chain in which value remains closer to the producer, strengthening long-term relationships and ensuring greater transparency from farm to roastery. For us, coffees like El Dorado represent more than outstanding quality -they reflect a shared commitment to fairness, traceability and meaningful partnerships.

This Wush Wush Natural offers a beautifully balanced cup, reminiscent of cherry liqueur & syrupy stone fruit, layered with notes of sweet red berries and ripe fruit. The 48-hour fermentation and natural drying bring depth and richness, while the variety itself contributes elegance and aromatic complexity.
In filter brewing, the coffee reveals its full spectrum of flavours with remarkable clarity and balance. Yet it is equally great as an espresso, where its sweetness, texture and fruit intensity become even more concentrated. However you choose to brew it, this is a coffee that rewards curiosity -a true gem, overflowing with character and flavour in every cup.
