La Victorina is located in the mountains of Santa María de Dota, within Costa Rica's renowned Tarrazú region. Rising between 1,850 and 2,100 metres above sea level, the farm benefits from cool mountain temperatures, abundant rainfall and volcanic soils rich in organic matter. These conditions extend the ripening period of the cherries, allowing the Geisha variety to develop exceptional density, aromatic complexity and remarkable sweetness. At this altitude, coffee ripens slowly, expressing the vibrant clarity and elegance.

This Geisha lot, one of the world's most celebrated Arabica varieties, prized for its refined floral aromatics and extraordinary cup quality.
Only cherries with the highest sugar concentration are selectively hand-picked before being transferred whole onto raised African beds. The natural process relies on a prolonged, carefully monitored drying phase, during which the cherries are turned frequently to ensure even dehydration and prevent unwanted fermentation.
The result is a natural Geisha that balances vibrant fruit intensity with remarkable elegance, preserving the variety's delicate floral character while adding sweetness and depth.

La Victorina is the vision of Eduardo Ramírez, a producer whose journey into coffee began not on a farm, but in quality control laboratories and export companies. Before establishing his own estate, Eduardo built his reputation as one of Costa Rica's leading sensory professionals, becoming National Cup Tasting Champion (2019), a certified Q Grader, and an international Cup of Excellence judge.
His philosophy is simple: produce fewer coffees, but make every lot exceptional. Every stage -from harvesting to drying- is meticulously controlled, combining scientific precision with a deep respect for the natural expression of each variety. Today, La Victorina has become one of Costa Rica's most exciting producers of rare micro-lots, where innovation serves only one purpose: revealing the full potential of the coffee.
TREVO sourced this exceptional lot through MAE Liaisons, whose transparent sourcing model connects progressive producers with specialty roasters seeking coffees of outstanding provenance and quality.

Its silky body and vibrant acidity create remarkable balance, while the natural process adds depth without overshadowing the variety's refined character.
