The story

Nobody expected a specialty roastery here.

Trevo started in 2019 when Andrea, an Italian with a long obsession with coffee, set up a roastery in Bezau, a quiet village in the Austrian Alps. The café opened two years later.

What grew around it was something neither planned nor forced: a small, genuine community of people who really care about what's in their cup.

The coffee

Something a little bit different.

Trevo isn't interested in the coffees that every other roaster is already carrying. The hunt is for the rare lots, the small producers doing something worth paying attention to.

Over half the coffee comes through direct trade, so the people growing it are properly taken care of, and the coffees that arrive are ones you genuinely won't find easily elsewhere.

The goal is always the same: let the coffee taste like itself.

More than just a roastery

Café, courses, events and education.

Trevo roasts, serves, teaches and shows up at local events. It also supplies some of the best hotels and restaurants across the region.

But the part that keeps it interesting is the community that has built up around it, the people who come back not just for the coffee but for the conversation.

Andrea Trevisan

About me.

Andrea grew up in Italy where his father first got him into espresso. He has been working in coffee professionally since 2009, and in that time became a licensed Q-Arabica Grader, SCA Certified Trainer, and Austrian Roasting Champion.

Come in and say hello. Coffee tastes better with good company.
